Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW)

Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) is about 30 minutes away by car from the conference venue in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is served by most of the major U.S. airlines, as well as several other airlines (see complete list of airlines).


Ground Transport from and to the Airport

Taxi is convenient and costs about $55 one way (~$64 including tip). Follow signs at the airport.

Bus service is available from the airport to Ann Arbor for $12 (if reserved online) or $15 (for walk-on service without a reservation; exact amount in cash is required). Buses leave once every 60-90 minutes from morning to evening (view bus schedule). The stop at Ann Arbor’s Blake Transit Center is within 10-20 minute walking distance from the conference site and recommended accommodations. Go to http://www.myairride.com to make reservations.

Caution: Convenient free parking in Ann Arbor is extremely limited, though not-particularly-convenient paid parking is often available. None of the dorms have associated parking, and the hotels charge additional fees for parking.
